Title 2C THE NEW JERSEY CODE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE

This is a 12 DISK PROGRAM SET which is a comprehensive review of the New Jersey Criminal Code. We cover and review the statutes that are important to the Law Enforcement Officer.

The statutes were prepared for voice and the ease of listening and learning.

As with all of our products, this title is prepared for the law enforcement officer in mind and the material is voiced over by our professionals.

The Voices you hear on the sample are the voices on the product. These are professional voice-over persons - real human voices.

The specially designed breakdown of the statutes allows for comprehensive learning and allows for the specific return and review of areas of concern. In short this means we have broken down the infomation into small 1 to 2 minute tracks. For example; The theft statute is broken up into 55 tracks and not just one long continous track.

Furthermore, when a statute refers to another statute or portion of the statute, we review that statute or portion. For example, the aggravated criminal sexual contact statute refers to portions the sexual assault statute. We do not repeat the statute word for word. For example, the Agg. Sexual Assault Statute states “under any of the circumstances set forth inthe sexual assault statutel; 2C:14-2a. (2) through(7)." You will not hear, "under any of the circumstances set...." but you will hear those portions of the statute.

Some of the material not covered includes statutes or portion of statutes that speak of additional sentencing, legislative intent, affirmative defenses, evidence, or testimony that will or will not be addressed to the jury, for example, 2C:14-7, ‘Victim's previous sexual conduct; manner of dress’. This statute specifically targets the prosecution in a case. We do not cover this statute.
